Today we heard a story about our first female mathematician: Hypatia. Ask your kids about her :)
Then we worked on putting a bunch of decimals in order, from smallest to largest--together. Imagine your children, me, a TA, and tons of sticky-notes covered with decimals. We had so much fun we're going to have to finish tomorrow when we meet at the beginning of class.
No homework tonight!
